Personal Bio

Born in Brooklyn, New York, Alexis J. Estevez is a filmmaker, video editing coach, Realtor®, and creative entrepreneur based in Los Angeles. A lifelong storyteller, he began by creating his own comic books before studying graphic design at Otis College of Art and Design, where a classroom film assignment sparked a passion for filmmaking that would shape his career.

Over the past two decades, Estevez has written, directed, produced, and edited narrative films, documentaries, commercials, branded content, and corporate videos for clients ranging from small businesses to Fortune 500 companies, including Apple, NBCUniversal, Comedy Central, 20th Century Fox, Macy’s, Nasdaq, Caesars Entertainment, and Outdoor Channel. His documentary Dead Meat Walking featured interviews with Norman Reedus and Tom Savini, while his feature film Animus and award-winning short Harvard Court reflect his enduring passion for independent filmmaking.

As the founder of AJE Media, Estevez draws on nearly 20 years of professional editing experience to coach entrepreneurs, YouTube creators, filmmakers, business owners, students, and creative professionals. Rather than simply teaching Adobe Premiere Pro, he helps clients strengthen their storytelling, editing workflow, creative decision-making, and overall communication through personalized, project-based coaching.

In addition to his creative work, Estevez is a Realtor® with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Golden Properties, serving clients throughout Pasadena, South Pasadena, San Marino, Alhambra, Sierra Madre, and the greater San Gabriel Valley. His approach to both real estate and coaching is rooted in the same philosophy: build trust, communicate clearly, and create lasting relationships through genuine expertise and personal service.
