CASTING ORIGINAL DOCUMENTARY SERIES FROM MAJOR ONLINE PLATFORM
We are searching NATIONWIDE for UNDOCUMENTED AND/OR DACA TEENS & IMMIGRANT TEENS WHO ARE IN HIGH SCHOOL to be part of a new original documentary series from a major online platform, Inbox Immigration High.
We’re looking for ALL TYPES of immigrant situations – whether you’ve already received DACA, tried going through DACA and been denied, or don’t qualify at all.

Note: We are looking for REAL PEOPLE actually going through this, NOT actors to portray a role.
We are casting teens who are active in their communities, have a powerful voice, and who are passionate about hobbies. This teen marches to the beat of their own drum! Just so happens they are undocumented.
We are looking for the everyday teen who is unique, has their own style, who is a leader in their own right, and has a story to tell.
The Trump administration’s decision to rescind DACA has left many young, aspiring teens feeling uncertain about their future. We see that the power of leaning into your voice rather than fear can pave waves for legislation and create impact.
This series is not your ordinary immigrant narrative. We want to explore more than just the identity of being undocumented. We are here to explore the different intersections of identity, nationality, religion, sexuality, gender, and social class – while being young and in high school.
We are looking to cast several teens – so feel free to share with others.
We’re looking for teens who are trying to achieve their dreams; whether it be becoming an activist, a young leader, getting into Harvard, or simply falling in love. ALL types of stories. It is important to capture the joy and strength of students who have felt abandoned by the current political climate – sharing their personhood is important.
This is a PAID project with legal compensation once the finalists get selected to move forward with the series.
CASTING IMMEDIATELY – Please make your initial submission ASAP, as once we hear from you, we’ll be asking selected candidates to submit some additional video.
First Round Casting Process:
Please submit initial video (details below) – We want to get to know you! We are looking to see you in your environment.
Selected people will be asked to create several other videos on specific topics.
Second Round Casting Process:
Callback Interviews via ZOOM with $50 compensation if selected (specific dates TBA)
Third Round Casting Process:
If you have been selected to move forward as a character in the series, in-person film dates are to be scheduled.
PAY: There will be pay for those selected to be in the series – specific compensation and legal services to be determined for participation.
FILM DATES: Filming will begin in-person for one to two weeks starting late Spring/early Summer.
NOTE: Regarding Covid-19 safety protocols, please note that all in-person filming will be done in accordance with all federal and local standards set by the CDC at the time of filming.

PRIVACY: Participants understand that by consenting to providing videos to this casting submission, participant’s story will be available to be reviewed by Snapchat’s internal team and the casting producer. Snapchat, the casting producer, and the production studio will ensure that your casting submission is for their eyes only and hold the highest standards of privacy. The participant’s story will be treated with care and in good faith.
