CASTING COMMERCIAL FOR MAJOR SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORM!
We are searching for SOCIAL MEDIA USERS (or people who just took a break from social media!) who are in the greater NYC area / Tri-State area to be in a commercial for a major social networking platform.
GREAT PAY!
We’re looking for the following types of social media users:
1. Social media user whose had their account receive a Verification Badge (Blue Check) – Primarily artist types (no actors)
2. Social Media User whose had their account disabled for getting too excited about something. Positive story.
3. Social Media User who took a break from social media and deactivated their own account.
Details:
REAL Social Media User who’s account has a Verified Badge (Blue check):
Open to All Ages, All Genders, All Ethnicities, All Orientations. Seeking a social media user who has gone through the process of getting their social media account a Verified badge (Blue check mark next to their name) – e.g., artists, musicians, comedians, public figures, etc. who need people to know their account is real). We are not able to take submissions from people who are primarily actors (you can have done some, but it can’t be your main thing). Submission MUST come directly from the individual, NOT from agents or managers. Looking for someone who can explain the requirements and process that it takes to get their account verified. Only looking for people who have an interesting, light-hearted story.
REAL Social Media User who’s account has been Disabled & then reactivated:
All Ages, All Genders, All Ethnicities, All Orientations. Seeking a social media user who has encountered a social media experience involving the need to access a disabled account. MUST be a positive story – for example someone who got really excited about something, therefore tagged a bunch of people or sent a bunch of messages, and then had their account disabled, or some other reason which stemmed from a positive situation. We’re looking for someone who can explain the requirements and process that it takes to get their disabled account reactivated. MUST bean interesting, light-hearted, and positive story to be considered for this project.
Social Media User who took a break from social media and deactivated their own account:
All Ages, All Genders, All Ethnicities, All Orientations. Seeking a social media user who made the decision to DEACTIVATE their account (deactivated, NOT deleted) – MUST be a positive story – e.g., maybe your’e taking a break to focus on school or study, maybe it’s an annual break you always take, or some other personal choice.
This project shoots in NYC – you must be here (or get yourself here) to be considered (i.e., close enough to work as a local)
Project: PAID Non-Union Commercial
Interviews: ASAP, via FaceTime or Skype
Shoot: one-day shoot on either 7/20 , 8/9, or 8/10, 2019 – in NYC
Usage/Run: Worldwide, in perpetuity, Internet, Online, Social Media, New Media, Internal, Industrial, Archival/Historical Press and PR Materials
PAY: Up to $1,500+ ($500 for the shoot, plus additional $1,000 buyout if in final edit)
