Seeking Positive Middle Eastern
Character Dramas or Comedies

We are looking for completed,
feature- length, character driven dramas or comedies which feature
positive and realistic Middle Eastern characters.
Please note, we do NOT want to
perpetuate stereotypes which portray such characters as terrorists or fanatics
of any sort, so we really need someone who sees Middle Eastern culture from the
inside, not someone who looks in from the outside or from watching American
television. So when pitching, please include a very brief mention of
your background in relation to Middle Eastern culture.
Budget will not exceed $200k. Only
non-WGA writers should submit at this point in time.
