PEOPLE WHO HAVE USED PEARSON EDUCATIONAL SERVICES WANTED
CASTING PAID PROMOTIONAL DOCU-STYLE VIDEO
We are searching NATIONWIDE for people who have ACTUALLY USED PEARSON EDUCATION SERVICES to further their education or career goals. to appear in a promotional docu-stye project.
GREAT PAY: $2,000 plus Free Travel to New Orleans for the shoot!
NO ACTING EXPERIENCE NECESSARY.
PROJECT DETAILS:
This docu-style project features stories about how Pearson education services improved people’s lives. We are open to all Pearson-related education stories, especially stories from people who used the following Pearson services:
-GED
-Certiport
-Connections Academy
Note: As part of the visuals for this project, we will be asking selected participants to share childhood pictures and videos of themselves.
Filming: in New Orleans, traveling on Dec 8th, filming Dec 9th and 10th, returning home on Dec 11th, 2025. (All travel expenses paid by production.)
Usage: The usage is still being confirmed. It will probably be Online Videos + Social Media for at least 1 year.
PAY: $2,000 total including travel/shoot/usage, broken out as follows:
– 2 Travel Days each @ $250 = $500
– 2 Shoot Days each @ $500 = $1,000
– Usage Rate = $500
– Total = $2,000*
*There is no talent agency fee added onto this.
THE PROCESS: WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
● Step 1: Complete and submit a self taped video as instructed below.
● Step 2: Casting will review all submitted videos and invite selected individuals to a 15‐minute Zoom callback scheduled on Nov 13th.
● Step 3: After the callback, selected participants will be invited to be professionally filmed in New Orleans.
TO SUBMIT:

Be sure to include:
1. Your name (first and last)
2. Contact phone number
3. City/State where you live
4. Use a file transfer service such as WeTranfer or Google Drive to send us your self-taped audition video (per guidelines below)
5. VIDEO SUBMISSION – please answer the following in your self-taped video:
a) Your name and what city you live in.
b) Tell us what Pearson service you used (ie “I got my GED through Pearson” “I got my Adobe certification through Certiport,” etc).
c) Give us a description of your life before using that Pearson service, and how your life is improved now. (For example: “I never finished high school because of my mother’s health issues so I had to work in a job I hated. I finally got my GED through Pearson and now work in a job I love”, etc). Feel free to dig into your childhood challenges if that’s applicable to your situation – i.e., you can include how your life as an adult, with the education/certification(s) you now have, is very different than how it was, or you how thought it would be, when you were younger.
d) Let us know if you have any pictures and videos from your childhood that you could share with us, if asked.
e) Tell us if you are available to travel to New Orleans from about Dec 8th to Dec 11th, if selected.
