HIRING VIDEO EDITOR & SOUND EDITOR/MIXER FOR FEATURE FILM

(LOS ANGELES)

We are now hiring a VIDEO EDITOR for Music Video & B Roll and a POST-PRODUCTION SOUND EDITOR/MIXER for a feature film.

Ideally you are in the LA area so I can drop off footage and work with you directly if needed.  We are in Calabasas. I can give you very specific directions if you need.

We are hiring for 2 positions for an over the top comedy independent parody feature film.

VIDEO EDITOR:

We need somebody that can do video editing for a feature film. We have an editor for the main footage, but we need someone for the B-Roll which will consist of lots of travel footage and music video that will be combined with noir-like voiceover and dramatic music- Similar in tone to Naked Gun but put together like Mission Impossible/ Bond. Must be fans of movies like that. Straight face parody.  No sound mixing.

Probably will be about 15 minutes total. Must be able to get started immediately because need this done by end of October / Nov 3rd latest.

SOUND EDITOR:

We need somebody that can do sound for a 90-100 minute feature film, 5.1 sound.  Mix and Mastering.  Will have 7-10 days maximum to do it.  Premiere is November 23rd.  Video should be done around November 5th so will likely have until 15th complete the sound.

We can hire a different person for each position unless you are an expert in both Mixing and Mastering – so please let us know when submitting.

This is a small budget movie – but a really fun project and some amazing footage!
