Seeking Drama Pilot Samples

We are looking for completed TV drama series pilot samples to assist in efforts to find a writer to hire for a pre-existing project.

The project is a drama series about the fisherman gangs in Maine and how brutal the fishing industry used to be.  We are trying to create a show similar to “The Wire” but focused on the drama of a small town with fisherman gang violence, drug addiction, and family conflicts.  We are specifically looking for pilot samples that will demonstrate that the writer has experience writing these types of themes.

When submitting, please write a note in the personal message space about why you think you would be a good fit to work on this project.

Our budget is yet to be determined.  Both WGA and non-WGA writers are welcome to submit.
