We are snow HIRING A FILM EDITOR with Sound Design and Color Grading Expertise for a short film project.
Location: Los Angeles, CA
Job Type: Freelance
Date: Flexible, but looking to complete the project swiftly without compromising quality
Rate: Negotiable Depending upon experience – please send your rates.
We are currently seeking a talented Short Film Editor to join our team for an upcoming project in the Los Angeles area. The selected editor will be responsible for reviewing approximately 220 minutes of footage, working with a provided script, and creating a visually stunning and cohesive short film. The project includes sound design and color grading

Responsibilities:
– Review and edit approximately 220 minutes of footage to create a compelling short film
– Work with provided script, Rode NTG4, and Zoom H6 audio to ensure high-quality sound
– Implement sound design to enhance the overall cinematic experience
– Perform color grading to achieve the desired visual aesthetic
– Potentially edit a 30-second to 1-minute trailer or commercial for the short film
Requirements:
– Proven experience as a Short Film Editor with sound design and color grading expertise
– Ability to efficiently handle a large volume of footage while maintaining quality
– Proficiency in using editing software and relevant tools
– Strong creative and storytelling skills
– Portfolio showcasing previous work, including video links
Confidentiality: The selected editor will be required to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) to maintain the privacy and confidentiality of the project.
