FACILITIES MANAGER AT eSPORTS PRODUCTION COMPANY
We are now hiring a
FACILITIES MANAGER at Turtle
Entertainment, the leading eSports Production Company
with over a dozen series and 4 new shows on Hulu.
Job Title: Facilities
Manager
Job location: ESL/Turtle
Entertainment America – Burbank, CA
Hours: Full-Time
Salary: $65K – $80K,
Negotiable, DOE.
WHO WE ARE:
ESL is the world’s largest
eSports company, leading the industry across various games with numerous online
and offline competitions. It operates high profile, branded international and
national leagues and tournaments such as the Intel¬ Extreme Masters, ESL One,
ESL Pro Series, Starcraft¬ II World Championship Series, as well as grassroots
amateur cups, leagues and matchmaking systems.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for the
installation, maintenance or servicing of buildings, equipment and other
company resources as the job of a Facilities Manager. Proficient in building
and safety codes, ISO regulations, maintenance, repair responsibilities,
Oversee and supervise the work of janitorial and housekeeping personnel. Plan
staff’s schedule and keep track of their attendance. Create checklists of
duties to be done daily. Coordinate all staff activities, train newly hired
staff of their duties, responsibilities, and how to use the equipment or
machines. Manager may also perform some of the tasks, such as taking out the
trash, sweeping the floors or cleaning bathrooms. They are also responsible for
reporting broken equipments, buying cleaning tools, and keeping supplies in
stock.
REQUIREMENTS:
* 2-5 years of experience
in facilities management experience (large building, school campus, production
studio, hotel, etc.) in a supervisor or manager role
* Operational and
managerial skills to manage facilities on maintenance, renovations and office
moves / relocations
* Demonstrated skills and
knowledge in the establishment and supervision of vendors for complex
mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems installations, maintenance, and
repairs
* Extensive knowledge and
management of janitorial needs of facilities and waste disposal including
thorough knowledge cleaning chemicals, supplies, and Material Safety Data
Sheets “MSDS”
* Familiarity of health and
building safety codes and working with the city government, Department of Buildings,
Fire * Department, and Police Department for permits and
compliance
* Warehouse, shipping, and
logistics experience
* Experience to oversee
security protocols and parking needs of the facilities
* Ability to create and
manage department budgets for operating expenses and large capital expenditures
related to facilities
* Manage a department of
5-8 full-time and part-time employees and contractors
* Effective communication
and organization skills
* Demonstrated computer
proficiency to include Windows, Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel),
and cloud based project systems (Google Drive, Dropbox, etc.)
* Valid CA Driver’s
License
* Physical exertion
requiring standing for long periods, walking, bending, lifting and maneuvering
heavy weights up to 50+ lbs.
* Maintaining the company
resources
* Coordinating with other
administrative and production departments
* Developing facilities work,
maintenance, and staff schedules
* Must be able to work
independently, yet strong collaboration skills are required
* Willing to work flexible
hours (possibility of weekends and/or holidays) and on-call for after
hours
* Some experience or
interest in studio (film and TV) productions including operations in live
production environments
