HIRING
ASSOCIATE PRODUCER FOR ULTRA LOW BUDGET FEATURE FILM
We are hiring an ASSOCIATE
PRODUCER for our upcoming ultra low budget feature-film,
“Rolling Dark,” from the the screenplay which is a Quarterfinalist in
the 2017 Academy Nicholl Fellowships in
Screenwriting.
This is a low, but fully
funded budget, with production slated to start in September
2018.
As this is an ultra low budget
film, we are paying a $500 stipend for this
position.
“Rolling
Dark” is an urban crime-drama. Logline: From immigrant to U.S.
Special Forces soldier, “Guyanese Eddie,” as he’s now known on the
violent streets of Camden, New Jersey, returns home from war and mysteriously
adopts a life of crime, assembling a crew of criminals to unknowingly help
search for his missing daughter. But the more heists they pull off together,
the more their lives begin to unravel in front of each other.
Duties:
Associate Producer for
Pre-Production, which includes but is not limited to: auditions/casting (SAG
Ultra Low Budget Agreement); hiring for certain production crew positions
(Sound Recordist, Behind-the-Scenes Photographer/Videographer, etc.); location
scouting and securing, production insurance, props procurement, and any other
duties normally associated with Pre-Production.
Note: Both the Director and Writer
are serving as Producers and will be involved with Pre-Production duties as
well.

Qualifications:
– Experience with
auditions/casting under a SAG agreement preferred but not required
– local to N.Y.C./Northern N.J. not
necessary, but a couple meetings will be required
– ability to execute administrative
tasks (insurance, location agreements, etc.)
– ability to mostly work
remotely
– assertive, personable, and
passionate!
Compensation:
$500 stipend; credited as
“Associate Producer” on IMDb and movie credits; D.V.D. copy and
digital copy of film; and copy of movie poster.
