ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR:

Stephen Marinaccio

is an accomplished production manager and line

producer who has gained a wealth of experience working in various

positions on feature film, television, and reality productions since 1990.

 With a varied background working in development, production, post,

and marketing, Stephen has shot projects in 16 countries around the world,

including Jordan, Russia, Germany, Italy, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Scotland,

Thailand, and South Africa, as well as numerous places in the United States and

Canada.  His credits as a UPM or line producer include The Alienist,

The Stoning of Soraya M., Marco Polo, and Ghosts of the Abyss with James

Cameron. He understands the details of moviemaking while still keeping

larger-scope issues in mind, and he has worked with both small and large

budgets. A member of the Director’s Guild of America since 2008, Stephen also

writes for LineProducing.com <http://www.lineproducing.com/> , a

website he created to help people understand the sometimes perplexing details

involved the the line producer’s role.
