COMEDY SCRIPTS WANTED

Seeking Feature-Length Rites-of-Passage or Buddy Love Comedies

—————————————————–

We are looking for completed, feature-length, high-concept rites-of-passage or buddy love comedy movies with relatively broad commercial appeal.

We would like to avoid heavy VFX, period pieces, and sci-fi/alien stories.  We would like stories with well-developed characters from diverse backgrounds who are in fresh-feeling yet relatable circumstances.  Please do not submit scripts with indie film structure – we are looking for scripts with the classic three-act structure only.  When submitting, please include a concise and effective logline and synopsis to demonstrate that your script fits the above requirements.  The ideal script is both a rites-of-passage and buddy love script, e.g., “Bridesmaids,” “The Big Sick,” “Isn’t It Romantic,” “Crazy Rich Asians,” or “I Feel Pretty.”

At this time we are only considering scripts from writers who have had relevant previous industry experience.

When submitting, please detail this experience in the message space.

Our budget is yet to be determined.  Both WGA and non-WGA writers are welcome to submit.
