CASTING ROLES FOR SHORT FILM

SEVERAL ROLES – PAY IS SAG SCALE

We are now CASTING ACTORS for several ROLES in the short film, Mexican Hat.

PAY IS SAG SCALE ($200 per day).

ROLES / CHARACTER BREAKDOWNS:

Bryant Gaines – Male (30s/40s) – A weathered gourmet chef from LA who’s seen way too much “high life” and looking to regroup in Mexican Hat, Utah.  He needs the soul-searching getaway.

Lorraine Johnson – Female / (20s/30s) – Stuck waitressing at the local truck stop, she’s ready for life to present an escape plan.

Mayor Red McIntyre – Male / (50s) – A corrupt, small-time businessman who knows how to manipulate the town folk.

Fernando Gomez – Male / (40s) – A conniving diner owner with a troubled past.  Always looking out for himself.

Maria Sanchez – Female / (20s/30s) – Too loyal for her own good.  Lorraine’s best friend.

Location:  Filming in Los Angeles and Mexican Hat, Utah.  Travel and local accommodations in Mexican Hat will be paid by production.

Dates:  Filming sometime in April/May-ish, 2025.  Schedule contingent upon cast and location availability.

Status:  SAG/AFTRA contract

PAY:  SAG SCALE ($200 per day)
