We are CASTING WORLDWIDE for LEAD ROLES for a feature film. Actors must speak some English, but do NOT need to be fluent. All roles open to all ethnicities (and accents) – see details below.
WANDER is a feature film with a love story on 7 continents. It will be shooting around the world fall 2019. A cross between “ About Time, ” “ Before Sunrise,” and “ Samsara. ” This film crosses genres and is a narrative/ documentary hybrid.
Actors MUST have a strong case of wanderlust and a good sense of adventure. If you have any fear of flying, heights, water, bugs, etc., this is not for you. Strong comedic and improvisational skills required.
ROLES:
[BEN]
Male / All Ethnicities (and all accents) / Looking for an 18-21 yr old to play early 20s, height: 5’8″ – 5’11”, weight: 145 lbs – 165 lbs.
A young Harrison Ford type. Ethnic background is NOT relevant – it’s about his character/ personality. A rugged type with a comedic flair. Alone since the age of 6, raised by a myriad of strangers — police, orphanages, primitive tribes — he’s faced every conceivable climate, every imaginable threat, natural or man-made. And through it all, he has learned one thing: how to survive.
NOTE: MUST appear to be youthful/boyish, somewhat vulnerable. Ben’s age and size is relevant to the story line.

Female / All Ethnicities (and all accents) / 18+ to play 18 or younger
A young Audrey Hepburn type. She’s intelligent, creative, and bursting with wanderlust, but has never left her small town. On the surface, she’s smart, calm, and beautiful. Underneath, she’s profoundly lonely. All she wants is a real connection. OPEN to all ethnic backgrounds. If you have an accent or speak another language that is acceptable.
NOTE: MUST BE LEGAL 18 and also appear to be 18 or younger. Nellie’s age is relevant to the story line.
PROJECT DETAILS:
Project Type: Feature Film
Rate: $2,190/week guaranteed (+travel/accommodations)
Status: Non-Union
Audition: via SELF-TAPE, If selected from your submission
Audition Note: If selected from your submission, you will be asked to SELF-TAPE your audition, and you will be provided instructions on how to do this
Callback Location: via SELF-TAPE – or VIDEO Conferencing
Callback Note: After your 1st SELF-TAPE, if selected, the 1st Callback will be done with Video Conferencing (such as Skype, Facetime, etc.)
The 2nd Callback will most likely be in Los Angeles (travel may be arranged if appropriate)
Submissions Due By: March 30th, 2019 (may be extended – but please submit asap)

Additional Notes: Filming will be on 7 Continents. Rehearsals and final casting will be done by end of May, 2019. Shooting starts July and continues through fall. Actors will be asked to book out for the duration of the film, and will be compensated for their time. Original location of the cast may determine where the rehearsals are. This project is OPEN to all ethnicities and all accents. You do NOT have to be local to Los Angeles to be considered.
