BLACK PROFESSIONALS, BEAUTY/FASHION EXPERTS, BUSINESS OWNERS, FOODIES & ADVENTURERS
CASTING COMMERCIAL PROJECT FOR GEICO!
We are searching NATIONWIDE for BLACK PROFESSIONALS, BEAUTY/FASHION EXPERTS, SMALL BUSINESS OWNERS, FOODIES & ADVENTURERS (ages 18-95) to be featured in the second season of a commercial project for GEICO called Generational Storytime.
LOOKING SPECIFICALLY IN THESE FOUR CATEGORIES:
1) BEAUTY: Looking for people that have professional or significant, proven amateur experience in beauty and/or fashion.
2) ADVENTURING: Looking for people that have professional or significant amateur experience in the travel/outdoors industry, camping, hiking, backpacking, climbing, or anything “outdoorsy.”
3) BUSINESS: Looking for Black business owners and entrepreneurs of all ages! You should own or operate a business for at least two years.
4) FOOD: Looking for Black restaurant owners or someone that has had significant experience working in a restaurant, catering or similar. Looking for dedicated cooking/culinary enthusiasts. Vegetarians or vegans are welcome to submit.
We will be recording an inter-generational conversation between experts from each of our four categories.
We’re looking for:
– Interesting, intelligent, and engaging personalities who have a depth of knowledge and plenty to discuss when it comes to their field of expertise (see categories/fields above)
– Must be able to record in their home for 2 hours via Zoom in early August 2022 (one day between 3rd-9th) and a 5-10 minute test one or two days before the recording date.
– Can be located anywhere in the United States!
– Very interested in families who have owned a business for three or four generations!
– Please refer to us folks who are of the Silent Generation! 95-years-old
DATES:
Submission: Please send your info before Tuesday, June 28th, 2022
Audition: Please send your self-tape before Wednesday, June 29th, 2022
Pre-Shoot Meeting: 5-10 minutes, a day or two before your recording session
Recording Session: TBD, in your home (anywhere in the country), one day between August 3rd – 9th, 2022
PAY: $750 (includes session fee and buyout)
NOTE: Regarding Covid-19 safety protocols, please note that all in-person filming will be done in accordance with all federal and local standards at the time of filming.
