Nicholas Zingarelli

Personal Bio

Nicholas Robert Zingarelli is a writer who grew up on the gang infested streets of Chicago’s infamous west side. At the age of fourteen he witnessed the shooting of his twelve-year-old brother, staying with him to the end in the swarm of blue and red lights with sirens singing. Writing about this experience lead him into a new life. Nicholas really grew as a writer by workshopping his screenplays at the American Zoetrope Studios, leading him to become a Finalist in the Los Angeles International Screenplay Awards, Semifinalist in StoryPros International Screenplay Awards, Semifinalist in the Chicago Screenplay Awards, and Roadmap Writers Jumpstart Competition Top 50 Semifinalist. Nicholas has dedicated his writing to the memory of his brother and all the lost souls struggling to survive the west sides of this world.
