Jim Ramsay’s handle is “Action/Thriller Architect,” with a bit of levity thrown in the mix.

He’s likened writing a screenplay to designing and building luxury homes. It’s structurally like envisioning a story, writing a script, and directing the team to achieve his vision.

Jim has envisioned and developed a blueprint for several projects. He has also directed the teams needed to execute his vision and complete projects valued at up to $100 million.

Now, he’s channeled his creativity and experience into six feature scripts, including pitch decks. His projects have reached the finals in screenplay competitions. Jim’s stories are action/thrillers, leaning heavily on strong female protagonists and diverse casts.

Jim is in the Frances Ford Coppola camp of “I don’t lecture the viewer.” Jim creates exciting film stories that allow the viewer to escape the daily rigors of the world for a few moments.
