Personal Bio

Jay has been a director since the release of his cult hit BEYOND DREAM’S DOOR which was first released in 1989.  He is a multi award winning director and composer being a guest at a variety of film festivals including Cannes, Philip K Dick Film Festival in New York City, Austin’s Other World’s Film Festival.  He won an Emmy for directing THE BIRTHMARK an adaptation of a Nathaniel Hawthorne story and his most recent film FIRST TIME MACHINE is adapted from a story by Fredric Brown.  He has directed 13 features and worked on dozens of other films in various capacities.
