NAIL
THAT REACTION SHOT!
THE LANGUAGE OF THE
FACE
EMOTIONAL FACIAL EXPRESSIVENESS for
ACTORS
A FREE SEMINAR!
Many actors study
voice, improv and movement, but very few study the nature of emotions,
what facial muscles are involved in creating specific emotions and how those
emotions are revealed on the actor's face. Learning this
allows actors to create complex human emotion, the basis for every reaction –
on-camera, on demand - in a recognizable way.
While you might
think that creating appropriate emotions is something that
most people do naturally, more often than not there's a big difference between
what you think you're expressing and what you're actually revealing on-camera.
Most training
for actors focuses on the body, the voice and the words to communicate emotion,
which works for the stage. Film acting, which relies primarily on the
face, requires an additional set of skills.
John Sudol, one of
LA's top acting coaches, has pioneered a system for actors to use the power of
emotional facial expressiveness in their craft. He has been teaching
"The Language of the Face" for over six years, and his approach has
helped his students consistently book work. John's groundbreaking
system truly defines the difference between stage and film acting.
In today's market,
the actor who knows how to effectively communicate through facial
expressions has a great booking advantage over those who don't.
This free seminar
will reveal some of the secrets to understanding, creating and
controlling intricate facial expressions for on-camera acting.
Discover:
*
Why the playing field is not leveled when it comes to creating
reactions
* Why you must
know what your face is revealing on camera
* Why what you
think you're revealing is often different than what you are actually are
revealing
* How the way you
are wired determines how expressive you really are
* Why some actors
are overly expressive and why some fail to communicate

"I've

"I
went to an audition, even though I wasn't sure I was right for the role. I was
the only Asian actor there. I booked the job and the director told me it was
because I had the best reaction shots. Thank you John!" -- Jesse

the reality." -- Shelly M.
